Raah-E-Junoon

After finding the twists of the life which I could not take control of, I ended up writing this piece of poetry... Apologies for I am still learning the forms of ghazals and poetry.

mutmain (satisfied) ho ke uthe the jis dariyaa se kabhi,

aaj samandar mein talaashta hu use...

vo taara ke dua maangi thi jis se kabhi,

kaise phir uss dua se rubaroo karoon use...

main to nikla tha ki milunga manzil-e-maqsood(final destination) se kabhi,

jaan ke safeena-e-gham (ship of sorrows) mera vo door hui mujhse...
